IWA-TWC2: Transient Workers Count Too (TWC2)

Club Chair: Shradha Singh

Service to others

IWA and Transient Workers Count Too (TWC2) have been working together to support migrant workers in Singapore in need of financial or translation support. IWA also makes a yearly donation to TWC2.

In August 2019, IWA set out to raise money for 30 phone cards for the migrant workers. However, we got an overwhelming response and donated 100 cards in total.

In November 2019, TWC2 reached out to IWA to help a worker. The entire donation was used for this cause. TWC2 and the worker were very grateful for this gesture.

In January 2020, 26 migrant workers were taken for an outing, in celebration of the New Year, to Trick Eye Museum, Sentosa, and provided transport and lunch - thanks to the generous support of the members of IWA.

How can you support?

By contributing to fundraisers or volunteering in events or providing translation services.
