Nilanjan P. Choudhury’s debut novel Bali and the Ocean of Milk received wide critical acclaim and was a brief best-seller. The Case of the Secretive Sister is his second novel and the first adventure in the Chatterjee Institute of Detection series. He has also written a full-length play entitled "The Square Root of a Sonnet" which explores the dramatic events that accompanied the discovery of black holes by the Indian-American astrophysicist and Nobel laureate, Subramanyan Chandrasekhar.
