Dear Friends of IWA,
The Indian Women’s Association in partnership with the People’s Association Singapore, invites you to be part of a Community Engagement Programme to celebrate Chingay 2015 marking Singapore’s 50 years.
In this effort The People’s Association Integration Division along with the Community Arts and Cultural Division will embark on a journey to decorate and complete 150 Trees of Hope for Chingay 2015. These trees will be decorated with cuttings made out of plastic bottles and each will be painted colourfully. Each tree will carry a message of hope for the community.
The People’s Association along with IWA volunteers is holding a Train the trainer workshop on making cuttings out of plastic bottles and other weather resistant material. So come one come all and display your artistic and creative talents and represent IWA’s participation at Chingay 2015.
We request the availability of 15 volunteers to be part of this activity:
