I CARE - Giving back to the Community

Together we care•connect•celebrate for the community

Our focus on the I Care programmes is to engage our women in activities with IWA where the focus is on personal involvement of our members. We create a sense of ownership in the programme and through this approach the women come away with a fulfilled sense of caring for the societies needs in Singapore.

I CARE Programmes run by us:

  • Programmes for caring and community service planned with individual, small groups or one annual major initiative
  • Individually run IWA supported service for tuitions through SINDA
  • Small groups initiative to celebrate the festivals with the residents of Sunshine Welfare Mission (SWAMI HOME) once a quarter
  • The workers in distress humanitarian service
  • The IWA SMU Vidya Scholarship for a deserving Singaporean student chosen in accordance with MOE & SMU guidelines
  • Collection camps for donation drives organized for NGOs
