Adda meets to discuss : 'India - A secular Hindu Country'

The first of the series in 2014, Adda Club is finally here with an exciting topic which matches all the excitement of the Indian elections.

This election has created a new page in History and it would be great for us to meet and discuss what this means for all of us Indians living outside of India. With now Prime Minister Modi from BJP in office, India has gained a new identity. Now more than ever India is now being looked at as a – Secular Hindu Country. I invite all of you to examine this identity closely and share in this forum what it means for you as person of an Indian origin.

For those who are new to Adda – Adda is a discussion club of IWA where we meet once a quarter to discuss a topic of interest. This is not an intellectual debate but a sharing of personal journey through a topic. In the past we have discussed topics like – Dreams, past lives, feminism, superstition, equality to name a few.
We expect each person attending to have done a little research on the topic and come prepared with a verbal presentation of about 3 minutes on their views. It is a moderated discussion where each person talks in a Popcorn sequence. We encourage all to present their views before we open the floor for discussion. These sessions are very exciting and stimulating with a lot to learn from each other. We invite each member to join the Adda sessions and be part of this very exciting journey.
